Checklists are at the heart of DeeDee.
They help turn the things your business needs to remember into simple, repeatable tasks — while creating a clear record of what's been completed.
Here's how to get them set up.
1. Open your checklists
Log in to your DeeDee dashboard and navigate to your Checklists area.
Here you'll see the checklists currently available for your venue.
Depending on your setup, DeeDee may already have provided checklists designed around your sector.
2. Review what's already there
Before creating anything new, have a look through your existing checklists.
Ask yourself:
Does this reflect how we actually operate?
DeeDee provides the framework, but you can tailor your setup to the needs of your individual business.
3. Create a new checklist
Need something that isn't already there?
Select the option to create a new checklist.
Give it a clear name that your team will immediately understand, then add the individual tasks that need to be completed.
Keep each task short, clear and specific.
4. Choose how often it needs completing
Set the frequency for the checklist based on how regularly the task needs to be carried out.
This could include:
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Annually
Choosing the correct frequency helps DeeDee put the right tasks in front of your team at the right time.
5. Review and save
Before making the checklist live, give everything one final check.
Make sure the instructions are clear enough that a member of staff could understand exactly what's expected without having to ask.
When you're happy, save your checklist.
6. Complete checklists through the DeeDee app
Once active, your team can access the relevant checklist through the DeeDee app and work through each task.
This replaces relying on paper sheets, clipboards or somebody remembering that something needs doing.
7. Keep your records
Once a checklist has been completed, DeeDee creates a digital record of that activity.
Management can use the dashboard to review completed work and access historical records when they're needed.
That means less hunting through folders and paperwork when somebody asks:
“Can you show me when this was last done?”
Keep improving
Your checklists don't have to stay the same forever.
As your business changes, review them and make adjustments so DeeDee continues to reflect how your venue actually operates.
We'll build the framework. You build the business.
Stay confident. Stay compliant.
